This month we explored more about our calling from God, known as our vocation. Making a commitment to love God is the beginning of living out our vocation. If you were unable to join us in February, you can watch the recording of the gathering and choose a few activities off any of these pages or the ones below.

After looking at the definitions of each vocation and watching the above video, make two lists with your children. On one list write all the "jobs" they can do (fire fighter, teacher, farmer, doctor, work at grocery store, sell cars, etc.) On the other list write all the vocations they can be called to be (priest, deacon, religious life, brother, sister, single, married). Talk about how your job to make money is different from your vocation in life. Help the children fill in the handout, " I am called to be."

At the February gatherings you were introduced to and we walked you through the steps for signing up for FORMED, an online Catholic service with thousands of videos, bible studies, podcasts, books, and more. If you haven't signed up yet, find directions and more details at the parish website.
